Is Levant Opportunity Desk a real service or just a generic search phrase?
Levant Opportunity Desk is the public name of an independent freelance tender-intelligence service. It is not a generic directory label. The website presents its actual services, live brief examples, working approach, and contact points.
Is Levant Opportunity Desk the same as Opportunity Desk, the youth-opportunities platform?
No. Levant Opportunity Desk is separate. We are an independent freelance tender-research group focused on public procurement, donor-funded, NGO, government, private-sector, and institutional tenders for companies. Opportunity Desk is a different platform associated with scholarships, grants, fellowships, and conferences.
How can I verify a live tender brief?
Each public brief is a concise research reference, not the official tender. Where the material is accessible, we identify the buyer, reference, deadline, and source route. Before making a bid decision, open the official buyer notice and tender dossier, then contact us with the brief reference if you want help assessing it.
What does Levant Opportunity Desk actually do?
We help companies identify tenders, screen fit early, and when a file looks workable, help prepare the full bid package more clearly for submission.
Do you list tenders and help with tender bids?
Yes. Levant Opportunity Desk combines curated tender listings with company-side bid support. We list selected live public, NGO, donor-funded, government, private-sector, and institutional opportunities worldwide; screen whether a file appears workable; and, after a written fee is accepted, help prepare the tender bid package for your company to submit directly.
Are you only offering consultancy?
No. The work is not limited to generic advice. When the opportunity is a real fit and the support scope is agreed, we can help prepare the actual bid file with the client rather than stopping at high-level comments.
Do you only cover the Levant region?
No. ‘Levant’ is part of our name, not a geographic restriction. We list and research public, NGO, donor-funded, government, private-sector, and institutional tenders worldwide—not only in the Levant or the Middle East.
Can you search for tenders specifically for my company?
Yes. You can contact us with your company profile, sectors, countries, and buyer targets, and we can check current briefs or run a new targeted search.
Can we come to you with a tender we already found?
Yes. If you already have a live opportunity, we can review the visible requirements and help you judge whether the file looks worth taking forward.
What if we do not see a matching brief on the website?
That is not a problem. The website is only a public-facing shortlist. You can still contact us and ask for a more targeted search around your company profile.
Do the briefs on the website replace the official tender documents?
No. The briefs are short public references only. Any real decision or support work should always be based on the official notice and the tender documents themselves.
Do you guarantee that a bid will win?
No. We do not guarantee award outcomes. We focus on cleaner screening, stronger structure, and a more disciplined preparation path.
Do you represent NGOs, governments, or other buyers?
No. We do not represent the buyers. We work independently on the company side to help assess and prepare opportunities.
How can we trust you with company documents?
We handle working material carefully and on a need-to-review basis. If your company considers the data especially sensitive, you may send us an NDA first and we can discuss that by email before anything is shared.
Do you publish a fixed public price list?
No. We do not publish one generic price because the workload depends on the tender documents, required forms, technical and commercial sections, evidence mapping, language, and the company material available. After the first review, we send a written fixed-fee proposal if the file appears workable. We do not charge a percentage of the contract value.
When are fees discussed?
Fees are discussed only after the first document review, once we can judge whether the file is workable and what level of support is actually needed.
Which payment methods are available right now?
Our preferred method is a secure online link for credit-card payment through Suyool or Deel. The client must have its own Deel account to use Deel. Whish and OMT (Western Union) are also supported alternatives. The agreed fixed fee is paid in two parts: 50% before the completed package is delivered and 50% after the client approves it. Once the upfront 50% payment is received, we deliver the completed full bid package within three business days. Bank-to-bank transfers may also be possible by prior written arrangement via email, and we are working to support more methods soon.
Are you a registered company?
No. Levant Opportunity Desk is not a registered company; it operates as an independent freelance group of researchers and bid-preparation specialists.
When was Levant Opportunity Desk established?
We do not present a formal company-registration date because Levant Opportunity Desk operates as an independent freelance group rather than a registered company or tender authority. The service is maintained as a focused research and bid-preparation operation for companies.
Can we contact you about one of the live briefs on the website?
Yes. If one of the live briefs looks relevant, you can contact us directly and mention the title or brief reference so we can understand your interest faster.
Do you only work from the briefs already visible on the site?
No. The public brief list is only part of the picture. Companies can also ask us for a more targeted search around their profile, buyer targets, and country priorities.
Which kinds of sources do you monitor?
We monitor public and institution-led source environments, including international agencies, development institutions, public-sector buyer pages, and other open procurement channels where opportunities are visible enough to screen.
Can your website help us understand your working approach before we email you?
Yes. The site explains our positioning, live brief examples, targeted search approach, payment logic, and working boundaries so companies can understand the service before reaching out.
